The new season is fast approaching, these are the major dates for your diary
SATURDAY APRIL 2nd: MEMBERS: Clean up at the club from 10am to help with the external clean up after winter. Bring brushes, brooms, garden clippers etc. We also need to put the rubber mats back in the ditches.
FRIDAY APRIL 8th : The club will be open from 5.00pm to accept completed membership forms and fees to be followed later (7.30) with entertainment singer Julian Hopkins. Tickets £6.00 to include a buffet. Tickets from Rosemarie 01874 665630 or Elaine 01874 622960/07976486206.
After two years of COVID with very little socialising it would be good to get together to start the season off.
TUESDAY 12th APRIL: The mayor of Brecon, Councillor John Powell will attend at 6.00pm to bowl the first wood of the season to officially open the green followed by a buffet.
We have a terrific and full programme of bowling this year, thanks to our fixture secretary Ian Kinsey.
New members are especially welcome, just come along to the green at 6.00pm on a Friday evening, we provide all equipment but ask that you wear flat shoes.
